Disney Store vs. Freedom of fun...

It is all fun and games, if you are a formal cast member! You know what it is like to work at THE DISNEY STORE....

But, some people need to money to make a living! I don't like to stay in one place for too long. I just can't sit still and I need to be doing something. I enjoy driving around in my car but gas is getting to high for my college tail.

In the weekends, I would wound up at Galveston, Texas or Hermann Park in Houston, Texas. It is a quite time for me to read books and enjoy the life that god has given me. But, I need to take care of myself. So, I have taken a job of course part time at The Disney Store. IT IS PART TIME AND NO FULL TIME!!!

This job is to help me with my living and at least for me to do something with my life. I will be given up my Saturdays and/or Sundays. I don't mind given it up at all because I did not have anything to do on those days.

I just hope it does not conflict with my training for the half marathons for the Snow Drop Foundation and my church going. Also, school is going to be out for the summer coming up very soon!  I will have more time to be open for working at The Disney Store.

Also, my old job is not willing to let me go because the parent's partition for me to stay.  I will try and work around my schedule with Disney and the daycare. When school starts back up in fall... I will have to cut the daycare completely. So, It will be my last summer of extreme fun with my students who I seen growing up at the daycare I work at. (THE REASON WHY I AM LEAVING THIS JOB IS BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT WILLING TO GIVE ME A SET SCHEDULE AND I AM ALWAYS ON CALL WITH THEM, THE PAY IS LOW BUT I DO ENJOY THE CHILDREN'S MISCHIEF SCHEME EACH DAY! )

I will miss y'all very much! I am still going to be around but not always. Mickey Mouse needs my help at his house and I am willing to help out.  Please don't be mad at your teacher!

Waiting to start and finishing up Sschool...

As days draw near to start work at The Disney Store, I did some background research on working there. This is just from what I hear and I am NOT going to say anything that is out of line...

1) The famous on call! If you are schedule for a shift (they will call you, if you are needed)Basically, You are schedule for the time slot but do not come in until they need back up!

2) You are willing to work on a Saturday and/or  Sunday (maybe all day or just four hours)

3) You will be creating magical moments ( be friendly and always acknowledge the little guest first then the adult guest)

4) when showing a direction to a item, always point with two fingures and smile or show them where the item is at!

5) Please make sure you are in The Disney Look at all times!

6) After completing a conversation with a guest or finishing up a transaction; Make sure you say, "Have a magical day!"
-a lot of The Disney Stores stop say this and it runes the experience at the store  (I am going to try and bring it back to The Disney Store, where I am going to be working at)

or another one that I just found out is...

When starting a conversation maybe say, "How may I turn your pumpkin into a magical carriage!"
-How may I help you shop for something?

I am hopping on one toe and I really can't wait to start to work there! I need to finish homework but my anxiety is building up. I feel like going to Disney World for the first time but I am not!!

I did not get into Disney College Program

Hi guys, I did not get into the Disney College Program. I was kind of bum about it!  I will be reapplying in September of 2013. (this is going to be my fourth time applying)

I did called Disney and asked way I did not get in!

First, they told me a lot of people apply and it is very competitive internship. I can reapply in six month or when the Disney College Program applications are reposed.

If you have a resume and add it to the application... WORST mistake you will make! They will be this and that and that why you did not get in.

Apparently, they look more on the application then the phone interview. If you pick HIGH INTEREST and Moderate INTEREST... This will be your BEST bet or just pick all HIGH INTEREST.

Also, APPLY early and you might get in early or wait a long time (pending).....

Here is my boot letter.... If anybody is wants to know...
